Will you file our taxes for us?
We file state and federal payroll taxes and state sales tax only. We do not sign federal or state income tax returns, but we will work directly with your CPA to assist in all tax filings. If you do not have a qualified CPA, or need guidance on selecting one, we have a recommended list of qualified CPAs to handle your year-end taxes and tax planning needs.
What software do you use?
QuickBooks is what we use for the majority of our work. However, we also use a variety of other software packages, including Xero, Freshbooks, Expensify, Microsoft Small Business Solutions, Peachtree, and many others. Our team is well versed in the principles of accounting and manual bookkeeping so that we can adapt to the software needs of our clients.
If an emergency arises, can you help me?
Absolutely. We have a team of professionals on staff that can come to your office in an emergency or guide you in what needs to be done over the phone.
Will I always have the same person?
Every account is assigned to a manager, and we do everything we can to ensure that your account manager remains the same person. Depending on the volume or nature of your work, we may assign you additional team members. Furthermore, our whole team is available to assist you and works hand-in-hand with your account manager to successfully service your account.
If I have a slow season, can I cut back time?
Yes. We can always adjust our services to the level that you need. We understand that business has its ups and downs and we are here to work with you. That said, we do try very hard to adhere to a schedule with as little deviation as possible. This helps to guarantee that your team is available when needed and that your financial records are accurate and readily available.
Are there additional costs?
We do our best to factor in all costs when preparing your quote. We will notify you if a special case arises that requires more billable hours than expected, and you always retain the right to cap our services at a given level.
