Hi, I'm Burton, I'm the founder and CEO of Sutro Li. We provide accounting for great causes. Something I really believe in is the importance of being clear about what we know and honest about what we don't know. Accounting is a vast and shifting landscape. It's not reasonable or practical to try to have the answer for every question. Some words you might hear when working with Sutro Li might be, “I don't know, let me look into that for you” or, “Let's reach out to a lawyer or a tax consultant. They might have the answer and get you what you need more quickly.”
What I like about this is, it builds trust by demonstrating a willingness to be honest and clear. It also takes some confidence to be willing to show up less than perfect. So when working with Sutro Li, you can count on us to be clear about what we know honest about what we don't know and always willing to learn alongside you.
