Excellence is a Habit
Everything that we do matters, so we must remain positive. At Sutro Li we think of this as the compounding interest of positivity.
We practice this with sound accounting, supporting people with a vision, and with positive habits.
"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit" - Aristotle.
A few examples of a positive approach:
positive self talk: ‘we can do this’
being encouraging
offering solutions
believing something better is possible

Hi, I'm Burton. I'm the founder and CEO of Sutro Li. We provide accounting for great causes. “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.” That's Aristotle. Everything that we do matters, so we must remain positive. Every negative word or negative thought has a compounding effect, when repeated over time. We can think of this as the compounding interest of negativity, negative self talk, blaming others, focusing on what's not working, complaining. These are all things that when they become habits, they define what is possible.
Let's contrast this to the compound interest of positivity, positive self talk. I can do it, we can do this, believing something better is possible, being encouraging, believing that an answer can be found. There's only so much time in the day and we only have so much focus, so what we focus on really matters.
This is why Sutro Li focuses on accounting for great causes. We believe in the compounding interest of this energy. We do this with sound accounting practice, supporting people with a vision and the compounding interest of positive habits. “We are what we repeatedly do.” Excellence is a habit
